Well, sometime long ago I'd gotten my mother an artwanted.com day calendar for a christmas present, and it included one of my drawings. I ordered it in november, and just recieved it today.
Things didn't go how I hoped. I ended up feeling totally pissed off because they acted like they never saw this thing in their lives (it has been propped up for display in my room since october!) and my dad went "woah, I guess you actually are good?". Pfft. I allready knew they didn't fucking want me to go to art school, saying bullshit like that is supposed to make me feel better how?
I'm edgy that they want to look at my DA site, which is pretty much private from people IRL. There's just some things I rather my immature, rather stupid parents never see. (Neither went to college, my dad is still stuck mentally at age 20 and my mother was such a genius that she's an accountant who can never hold down a job for more than 3 years.) I sware to god I was adopted, because the last thing I need is them asking "WHY R U DRAWING NEKKID GURLS? I CAN SEE DER BOOBIES!1!1!!"

Asian sensation

Started playing in a Cyberpunk game friday night and decided to try and design my character. It was a nice change of pace to do something more modern rather than fantasy. :3

Cho Yun is my korean ex-military instructor, I tried to make her facial features and hairstyle have that kinda orient-feel. I had a lot of fun with her clothes (so many layers D:), but it's probebly hard to see for anyone else... T_T;;

I don't really plan to color this one since there were anatomy issues that I couldn't fix myself, but if you have any pointers I will take 'em. :3 (Like draw-overs, I think her shoulders are fooked. ;o; She's supposed to be leaning back on one arm kinda?)

Played a spot adventure last night with some of my D&D group because some couldn't make it, so I made a little teifling rogue. I felt he deserved a character design, so here you go. <3

I kinda like it for all the randomness. His teifling trait is that he has yellow sceleras and ruse color irises.
All the boys I draw look like shotas. TuT

Which is more important - solid inking skills or solid color theory?	Inking is important, but I've managed with sub-par inking skills.

What kind of sketchbook do you have? Brand? Size? How old is it?	I scoff at sketchbooks usually, but I did buy a small one so I would stop doodling on my notes. I used to keep 'em around, but now it's just a small Neopiko one.
How many sketchbooks have you had previous to this?	6, in my entire 5 years. I much prefer loose sheets of paper.
How many sketchbooks do you go through in a year?	...Don't make me do the math. XD
#2 yellow pencil or a clicky pencil?	Clicky pencil, preferably with a cute design. :D
What kind of eraser do you use?	Really whatever I have around since I have so many. I do like my large pencilish Bluebear one though.
Who are your artistic influences?	Falcoon, Galou, subliminally many japanese artists. XD Those are just the obvious ones.
What books would you reccomend to aspiring artists?	An anatomy book, or book with lots of poses for people. I crap on the How to Draw Manga ones. >:B
Do you have any favorite online tutorial sites?	Polykarbon.com seems pretty effective.
What is the most money you've ever made on one drawing / illustration / painting?	Hahaha, $7?! XD
What do you hope to accomplish with your art? Do you want to go anywhere with it in life?	...You will laugh, but my dream is to be a character designer for some large video game company like SquareEnix or Atlus... ;o;

Well, I finally got up and did the LJ thing... =u= I'm entirely new to the blog/online journal scene, so any help as to make my page look spiffy is appriciated. ;o;
I moved here from SA, and will be posting some of my more risque works as well as doodles and such. Friend me if you like, I do miss my SA friendses... T_T
